The Madden Super Bowl simulations have been pretty accurate for 7 out of the last 9 years, according to the New York Post. Last season, the winner of the Super Bowl was correctly predicted by the video game simulation, which was won by the New York Giants. The simulations when the video game were not able to predict correctly are the Super Bowl XLII and Super Bowl XLV. The Giants won SB XLII, but the simulation predicted the Pats to win, while the Packers won SB XLV, when it predicted the Steelers to win.
