Who Will Be This Year’s Super Bowl MVP?

NFL Betting – Who Will Be This Year’s Super Bowl MVP?

The online football betting world loves to try and guess which players will shine above all the rest in a game that has not been played yet. Some people question whether or not the Super Bowl MVP is decided after the game has been played or before the game even starts. It is an award that is supposed to recognize the contribution that one player made to the game that allowed that player to stand above the others. The Bet On Sports sites are ready to see which player will wind up being the MVP of Super Bowl XLVII.

Ray Lewis – LB – Baltimore Ravens

The pending retirement of Ray Lewis has created much of the emotion that surrounds this game for the Baltimore Ravens. Many of the football betting sites feel that all Lewis has to do is have a decent game and he is a shoe-in for MVP. History has shown that retirement does not guarantee a player the Super Bowl MVP. In Super Bowl XL, Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jerome Bettis played the last game of his career. He played a good game, but he was not MVP. Lewis will have to earn the honor if he wants it, and he definitely has the skills to win MVP.

Harbaugh Bowl Brings a lot of Drama

The Harbaugh Bowl Brings a lot of Drama

The NFL betting experts have never seen anything like it before in the history of the league. There has never been two brothers coaching against each other in an NFL playoff game, ever. Now Jim Harbaugh takes his San Francisco 49ers to New Orleans to face his older brother John Harbaugh and the Baltimore Ravens. These are two good football teams with two very capable head coaches, but it still may put a crimp in next year’s Thanksgiving dinner after it is all said and done.

The online sports betting experts were shocked when former Ravens’ offensive coordinator Cam Cameron called John Harbaugh’s decision to fire Cameron “a brilliant move.” In retrospect, Cameron may be right. As soon as Harbaugh made the move and put Jim Caldwell in as the offensive coordinator, the Baltimore offense snapped to life. It isn’t that Caldwell is a great coordinator. It has more to do with the fact that if John Harbaugh would fire someone he regarded as highly as Cam Cameron just to win games, then no one in the organization was safe. The message was received loud and clear, and the result is a trip to the Super Bowl.

Why the 49ers Will Win

The “Smith brothers” patrol the middle of the San Francisco 49ers’ defensive line and pose all kinds of problems for the Baltimore offensive line. The Sports Room experts know that Ravens’ quarterback Joe Flacco is a pocket passer, and the Smith brothers are very good at collapsing pockets. Teams are also finding it exceedingly difficult to game plan for second-year quarterback Colin Kaepernick. When you add in the strong San Francisco offensive line and running back Frank Gore, you have a recipe for a 49ers’ Super Bowl win.

OMG - Raven wins Super Bowl 2013, 27-24, vs 49ers!!!

The popular video game Madden '13 is predicting that the Baltimore Ravens will be this year's Super Bowl champions. EA Sports, the maker of the annual football video game has released a video simulating the last play of Super Bowl 2013. The Ravens was leading the 49ers, 27-24, with only 17 seconds left on the final quarter. QB Colin Kaepernick during those final seconds, had possession and was ready to throw the ball before being blasted by Ray Lewis, the Ravens' linebacker. The pass was for Randy Moss in the end zone, but was picked off by safety Ed Reed. Ravens claims the Lombardi Trophy for Super Bowl XLVI, with a 27-24 win against the 49ers. - (check video next)

NFL Fresh News: Alex Smith leaving the 49ers?

NFL Fresh News: Will Alex Smith leave the 49ers?

SF49ers QB Alex Smith is rumored to be asking the team to release him after the Super Bowl XLVII game. Alex has been in this situation before, when he and the team were having issues at the start of the season. It started when Alex suffered a concussion, and was replaced by the young and highly explosive Colin Kaepernick.

The team is said to be tired of Smith's whinnying, and so are many sportsbetting, particularly NFL betting fans. The former no.1 pick will start next season with a cool $8.5 mil., that is if the team won't decide to ditch him and use the savings to re-signing their starting lineup. Don't get us wrong, Alex Smith has been a great quarterback. But, the dynamic Kaepernick is showing us glimpses of the future, and it certainly shows a better future than with Alex at the helm.

SUPER BOWL XLVII & THE SUPERDOME

Big Event  Super Bowl in not something new to New Orleans. The resilient people of New Orleans has been the past venue of 9 Super Bowl championship games since 2001. What makes this year's Super Bowl momentous is that this will be the first Super Bowl after Hurricane Katrina ravaged this southeast corner of the state of Louisiana in 2005. On Feb. 3, the Top Guns of the AFC Conference, the Baltimore Ravens, will meet the NFC Conference Champions, the Atlanta Falcons in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. It is expected that the game will be as tremendous as the 2002 Super Bowl XXXVI, when New Orleans also hosted it after the 9/11 attacks. What makes this year's Super Bowl even bigger is that the opposing  teams are being coached by brothers--the Harbaugh's, Jim and John. The brothers will be squaring it off against each other on Game Day, now dubbed as the "Harbaugh Bowl".
